WBRSA is doing its best to keep registration fees low and affordable for all players. The cost of running a full league requires quite a large amount of funding. The Frankie Foundation is dedicated to the goal of turning tragedy into triumph. A dear friend, Frank Speciale, was taken in the prime of his life by heart disease. Frankie lived life to it’s fullest and The Frankie Foundation’s mission is to help others do the same.
We will seek to accomplish our mission in two ways: First, by raising money to purchase and place Automatic External Defibrillator's (AED's) in parks and athletic fields throughout South Florida. An AED is the only way to treat most sudden cardiac arrests and their placement near athletic fields and parks will save lives.
By offering an annual scholarship in Frank’s name to a local student, it exemplifies Frank’s selfless nature and love of athletics.
WBRSA Enlists eAlerts® for Current Field Status Information and League News
WBRSA announces that it has registered with eAlerts® for real-time notification of field status, recreation and travel team updates, and League news. Simply go to the web site at http://westbocadiamonds.ealert.com, and register your telephone number (Text messages), email, PDA or other two way communication unit and receive notifications & updates as they are posted.
WBRSA will post an "alert" if, for example, the fields are closed because of rain, and eAlerts® will send a text message, or email to all those registered at the West Boca Diamonds link. This will save countless telephone calls to individuals by the WBRSA Board of Directors and Coaches. Please note that the system is limited to two (2) e-mail addresses and one (1) cell number per subscriber. If necessary, log in a second time and add other contact information.

ATTENTION PARENTS
The
West Boca Raton Softball Association (WBRSA) asks all parents to remain
with their child(ren) at all practices and games. In the case of
injury, no one can comfort a child like their own parent. In the case of
inclement weather, which occurs often during the season, it is
sometimes necessary to leave the fields very quickly for safety
reasons.
If
you are unable to stay at practices and/or games, please make
arrangements with another team parent to supervise your child(ren) until
your return. Coaches are only responsible for your child(ren) while
they are on the field.
No Dogs Allowed At South County Regional Park
This is a reminder that all participants in WBRSA must follow the South County Regional Park Rules, which include the following activities NOT allowed at the softball fields:
*No dogs, of any size *No bicycles *No rollerblades, rollerskates, skateboards *No smoking
