West Boca Diamonds' Travel Teams Complete a Successful 2008 Summer Season!!
In Summer 2008, the Diamonds' Teams enjoyed success in each age group - 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. For the first time in many years, West Boca fielded competitve teams in 4 different age groups.
The successes included the 8U team winning the NSA State Championship and the 10U team winning the NSA South Regional Championship. In addition, the 10U team claimed championships at West Boynton on Memorial Day weekend and at Lake Lytal the weekend of June 8th, as well as second place finishes on April 13 (in West Boca), May 18 (in West Boca) and June 1 (in Royal Palm Beach). The 12U team claimed a championships on April 27 (in Lake Lytal) and May 18 (in West Boca), along with second place finishes in several other tournaments. The 14U team claimed a championship on May 18 in West Boca.

8U West Boca Diamonds 2008
West Boca Diamonds - 8U NSA State Champions!!
During the three day tournament held in Tampa from June 27-29, the 8U West Boca Diamonds faced tough competition from teams throughout the state. The road to the championship title was made more challenging as the team had to deal with heat, humidity, lightning and several long rain delays. The Diamonds played well the first two days, but on the last day of the tournament the team fell into the loser’s bracket forcing them to have to win three consecutive games to win the championship. In the end their determination, skill and tenacity shined and the Diamonds won their last three games and were crowned the NSA Florida State Champions.
